As a survivor of a non-fatal drowning at age five, Amber turned her personal story into a life-saving mission. In 2023, she heroically saved a drowning child’s life—an experience that propelled her into full-time advocacy for drowning prevention and water safety. Today, she leads educational initiatives, partners with national drowning prevention organizations, and speaks internationally to raise awareness and drive change.
In 2024, Amber’s advocacy reached a monumental milestone when she successfully helped champion SB544, a Florida law providing free swim lessons for children under five. Through powerful testimony and unwavering dedication, she played a key role in making life-saving education accessible to thousands of families—and is now working to expand this impact nationwide.
